  Don't want to give this 1 star, but it won't let me do less!
  Called in here with a largish group of cyclists on a SkyRide. The landlady was clearly not able to cope with our group and said she couldn't handle that many coffees without notice! Many of our group then asked for their water bottles to be refilled. She did this grudgingly complaining that we were taking her away from her other (three) customers. Then she complained within my earshot about "the arrogance of the buggers!" Then, when I went to the toilet she opened the cubicle door (no lock) and told me that she had to check that the taps had been turned off as "they never turn them off."
  As insulting and unwelcoming as it is possible to be. Just don't go there.

  Lovely pub, we always have a great time when we go to this pub. Always met with a smile, lovely conversation. The landlord and land lady are fantastic, very friendly. I would give the place a visit definitely. A proper pub that always makes you welcome.
